4.2Installation

Check the rating label on the rear of the front panel of the EDP70 PLUS UPS to ensure the input/output voltages, frequency and load are all within the rating of the UPS.

EDP70 PLUS is designed to operate in an office environment with an optimum temperature of 68°F [20 C]. A gap of at least 4In [ 10cm. ] must be maintained at rear of the UPS to ensure adequate ventilation. Nothing should be placed around the equipment which might restrict the airflow.

Ensure the interconnecting cables do not cause a hazard to the user.

A gap of at least 32 In [ 800 mm] must be maintained above the UPS to ensure adequate space for maintenance. The appropriate lifting equipment must be used to move the EDP70 PLUS UPS.
