•Audio Dropouts – displays how many buffers have been lost so far since locking. This should be a small number, as it is normal for the driver to lose a few buffers when it initially connects and negotiates the correct speed. Check this before and after a recording or mixdown to see if your computer was able to keep up throughout. If this number is increasing each time you check, your computer is not providing data fast enough – try reducing channel count or other CPU load.
