In the following cases, the copies will be delivered to the shift tray without stapling.

When the number of sheets for one set is over the stapler capacity.

When memory reaches 0% during copying.

When you select Staple, Sort mode is automatically selected.

1 Sided for double copies in Combine mode, select K original for L copy, L original for K copy.

Stapling position and original setting

Set all the originals in a direction in which they can be read. They will automat- ically be rotate copied. When there is copy paper that is identical in size and di- rection as your original, the staple positions are as follows:

When using “1 Sided 2 Pages→ Combine 1 Side”, “1 Sided 4 Pages→ Combine 2 Sided” for double copies in Combine mode, select K original for L copy, L original for K copy.

When using “Top Slant”, “Left 2” or “Top 2” with “1 Sided → 1 Sided”, “1 Sided

2 Sided”, “2 Sided → 1 Sided”, or “2 Sided → 2 Sided” of combine function for double copies, select K original for L copies and L originals for K copies.
