Troubleshooting

Symptom

The communication among the Order Takers, menu board and All-in-One Headset can- not be established.

Button operation is impossible at the center module.

Cannot communicate with the customer at the menu board (TALK), though the communi- cation among personnel is O.K (PAGE is OK)

Cause/solution

Is the Power ON/OFF Switch on the center module turned on?

•Check the AC power outlet.

•If the problem remains even after trying the above, refer to the dealer or service personnel.

If POS Remote is set for ON, part of button operation becomes impossible.

•Set the POS Remote to OFF.

•Check to see if the VEHICLE DETECTOR indicator of the cen- ter module lights up when a vehicle drives up the speaker post or menu board.

•If the indicator does not light up, check the following.

1.Is the vehicle detector plugged in?

2.Check the AC outlet and fuse of the vehicle detector.

If the power and fuse are normal, refer to the qualified ser- vice personnel.

A menu board speaker is always live, even when there is no car beside the menu board.

TALK (PTT or Talk Lock) or PAGE (PTT or Page Lock) is unavailable in certain areas.

Talk or page operation is impossible from the All-in-One Headset or the Order Taker set in the manager mode.

•Reset the vehicle detector. If the problem still remains, remove and reinstall the fuse from the detector. (Refer to the operat- ing instructions of the vehicle detector.)

• If the problem remains even after trying the above, refer to the	–
dealer or service personnel.

•Confirm that there is no metal obstruction blocking around the center module.

Check that the Telephone Indicator is not turned ON.
If the indicator is turned ON, the Optional Function Button [R] is
turned ON on the All-in-One Headset or Order Taker side.
• The Button [R] is turned ON.	9
Press the Optional Function Button [R] on the All-in-One
Headset or Order Taker side again and check that the
Telephone Indicator is turned OFF.
