Defining a Unique DNA Prefix

To define a unique DNA prefix, use the following CLI command:

CLI> define msm profile dnaPrefix

Parameter

<DNAPrefix>

“String” (1..31)

Enter the DNA prefix string for this Passport 4460 unit. The string must be enclosed within quotation marks.

Example:

CLI> define msm profile dnaPrefix “626555134201”

Note: When entering the DNA prefix, it is not necessary to enter the type of numbering plan. If you want to override the default numbering plan, see Configuring and Operating Passport 4400 Rel. 4 Software, 206916-A.
