Chapter 3 Using the Print Server Manager

MAC ID

MAC ID” displays the MAC (Media Access Control) address of the Print Server.

Model Type

“Model Type” displays the Print Server’s model number.

Version

Version displays the Print Server’s firmware version.

Print Port

To display the status of the Print Server’s ports, click the “+” icon next to “Print Port.”

Netware

To display the status of the Print Server’s Netware connection, click the “+” icon next to “Netware.” The connection’s “File Server Name,” “Polling Time,” and “Attached Queue” status will be displayed.

TCP/IP

To display the status of the Print Server’s TCP/IP connection, click the “+” icon next to “TCP/IP.” The Print Server’s “IP Address,” “Subnet Mask,” “Gateway,” and “DHCP server” status will be displayed.

Apple Talk

To display the status of the Print Server’s Apple Talk connection, click the “+” icon next to “Apple Talk.” The Print Server’s “Zone” and “Printer Type” status will be displayed.

System

To display the status of the Print Server’s System, click the “+” icon next to “System.” The Print Server’s “Raw Print,” “IPP Print,” “LPR Print,” “Apple Talk Printing,” “Network Binary Printing,” “SMB.” and “SNMP” status will be displayed.
