Chapter 2 Setting Up the Print Server

Configuring the Printer’s Settings

To configure the printer’s settings:

1.After the computer restarts, from the desktop, select Start, Settings, Control Panel, and Printers and Faxes. Right-click on the name of the printer and from the menu that appears, select Properties.

2.In the “Printer Properties” window, select Ports. From the “Port” list, select the PrintServer Network Port that corresponds to the Print Server port to which the printer will be connected. In the example below, the “P3” port (one of the Print Server’s USB ports) has been selected. Click Apply, then Close.

The printer is now configured properly. Next, go to “Connecting the Printer,” on the next page.
