Parallel (Centronics) Interface

This parameter is to choose an ACK/BUSY timing of the parallel interface.

“TYPE1” has been chosen as default, but if a communication error occurs or a communication is not properly made, change to “TYPE2”.

Web Printer Function when using TCP/IP (LAN)

NOTE:

To enable this function, an IP address needs to be set, also. Refer to Section 2.7.3 IP Address Setting (TCP/IP).

After making a choice, press the [PAUSE] key.

This parameter is to enable or disable the web printer function which is available when the printer and your host computer is connected through TCP/IP.

As “OFF” has been chosen as default, change to “ON” when this function is used.
