Chapter 7: Troubleshooting

Problem: There is a problem with the telephone cable.

Solution: Check the following:

ˆSwap out the cable for a known good cable.

ˆFor POTS phones and fax machines, verify that the dial mode for the telephone and fax are correct, according to the manual that was supplied with the telephone or fax.

ˆCheck the telephone or fax machine for problems.
