“C-response Data Packet”

20h

“Event Data Packet”

B0h

“E-response Data Packet”

30Fh

“FP Data Packet”

Every data packet consists of 5 bytes of data.

If the RE-350receives another kind of data packet which will be described below, the RE-350will disregard the data packet and while the RE-350recognizes the data packet is incorrect, the RE-350will inactivate the CTS signal line to the PC.

ID number

Each RE-350can have an individual ID number, (0,1,2 or 3), which will be set by digital switches 3 and 4 on the rear panel. The RE-350will neglect the command data packet which has a different ID number. The PC can recognize which RE-350responds.

Parameter

Each data packet has this parameter. If the data packet does not need the parameter, the content should be set by $0000.
