2.Release the extender locks on both sides of the tray, and then pull out the extender.

Make sure the extender's inner surface and the scale are aligned.

You can adjust the length of the extender in three steps. When using A4 or letter size paper, adjust the length to the position indicated by the mark "" in the tray.
