¥VPS/PDC is a service provided by the public TV station. When you se- lect a VPS/PDC-compatible TV sta- tion and activate the VPS/PDC function, the beginning and the end of the timer recording will be con- trolled by the TV station. Any pro- gram air time delays will be taken care of. To make certain this works correctly always enter the exact starting time as published in the news paper or TV listing magazine.

¥When you use the VPS/PDC func- tion, the recording start time may be delayed by around 1 minute.

¥If you use the VPS/PDC function and timer recording to record con- secutive programs on the same channel, the 2 programs are re- corded as a single title on a DVD. When the programs are recorded using a VCR, no VISS signal is in- serted when the second program starts.

¥REC TO Ð record to the DVD or the VCR

¥VPS/PDC Ð If you want to receive VPS/PDC signal, select ÒONÓ at step 4.

¥Note that If you havenÕt set a guide channel for the selected TV channel, the CH field will be blank (--). In this case, set the channel number manually.
