You can now initiate the updating procedure manually:
>Use the On/Standby key to switch off the receiver (Standby).
>Now, while the display* shows “oooo”, press the key
SFI.
The receiver will now perform an update. This will be indicated by the message SFLd appearing briefly in the display*, followed by a progressive indication of the percentage of SFI data already downloaded.
>The updating procedure may be interrupted by swit- ching on the digital receiver(Key On/ Standby).
8.1.6 Blocking programmes (Parental control)
You have the facility to block access to programmes. A blok- ked programme can only be viewed on the screen if you first select the programme, and then enter your personal receiver PIN code or the Smartcard PIN code. Before selecting the programmes you wish to block, you must activate the paren- tal control function as described in Point 6.2.1.
To block access to a programme, call up the Navigator as described in Point 8.1.1. This will take you to the Favourites list.
>Press the blue function key Functions.
A selection window will be displayed indicating the available Navigator functions.
>Use the arrow keys up/down to mark the line
Parental control.
>Confirm by pressing OK.
>Now use the arrow keys up/down to mark the pro- gramme you wish to block.
>Block access to the programme by pressing the yel- low function key. The parental control symbol will be displayed next to the programme selected.
>To block access to several programmes simultaneous- ly, mark these as described in 8.1.2 ( Marking blocks of programmes) and block them by pressing the yel- low function key.
>When you have completed configuring the programme list according to your personal preference in this man- ner, press the Menu key to return to normal opera- tion.
>To remove the block on individual programmes, pro- ceed as described above. Mark the desired program- me and remove the parental control symbol by pres-
sing the yellow function key.
