8.3.4 Manual Search

If a particular programme is not found by means of the auto- matic or transponder search procedures, it may be necessary to enter the unique PID number for this specific programme. These numbers can be found in the Internet, or must be obtained from the appropriate programme provider.

The menu (Fig. 8-13)differs from the menu Transponder search only in terms of the menu points PCR-PID, Audio- PID and Video-PID. There is no need to enter the search mode.

>Proceed as described under Transponder Search.

>Then use the arrow keys up/down to mark the lines PCR-PID, Audio-PIDand Video-PIDusing the numeric keys to enter the appropriate numbers.

8.3.5 After the Search

You can follow the progress of the search procedure on screen even while the search on the transponders is still in progress. When the search has been completed, the number of transponders, programmes and new programmes found will be displayed. In addition a message will be shown (Fig. 8- 14), asking you whether you want to add the newly found pro- grammes automatically to the TV or Radio list. If you decide to accept the programmes automatically, you can then decide whether these should be added to the Favourites list in sor- ted or unsorted form.

Sorted

The newly found programmes are sorted into the Favourites list according to a pre-programmed schedule. The order in which programmes are placed depends on the audio language selected in Point 6.3.2 as well as on the country selected in Points 6.2.2 and 6.2.3.

Unsorted

The newly found programmes are added to the end of the Favourites list in unsorted form.

No

The newly found programmes are not added to the Favourites list. They will still appear in the Complete list.

>Use the arrow keys right/left to select whether you want to accept the programmes in sorted or unsorted form.

>Confirm by pressing OK.

Please note any messages displayed on screen.

>Press the Menu key to return to normal operation.
