8.1.2 Internal BERT Configuration

The Internal Bert Configuration allows you to configure the BERT chip (if enabled) to generate spe- cific patterns and error rates. Normally, the error rate is left at None, but the BERT pattern can be transmitted with a known error rate to confirm other test equipment accuracy.

To update the BERT configuration:

Select configurations for patterns & error rate.

Click Update BERT Config.
