Operating the Copyboard

These operations are required when storing the drawings on the copyboard’s sheet in the memory and when moving the sheet surface using the buttons.

Connecting the AC power adapter and turning the power on and off

The diagrams used in the explanations below show the copyboard installed in the horizontal position.

Connect the AC power adapter.

￿ Connect the AC power adapter to the copyboard’s DC power jack.

￿ Connect the AC power cord to the AC power adapter.

￿ Plug the AC power cord into a AC power outlet in a wall.

Insert plugs securely

Press the POWER button to turn on the power.

The POWER indicator blinks for approximately 20 seconds, then stops blinking, remaining lit. The copyboard is now ready to scan images (the fluorescent lamp is lit).

Drawings on the copyboard’s sheet can now be stored in the memory.

Notice:

The power mode changes to the standby if no button is oper- ated for 30 minutes.

When in the standby mode, the corresponding function is per- formed when a button is pressed.

When not using the copyboard

Press the POWER button to turn the power off. The POWER indi- cator turns off.

Notice:

The built-in memory or CF memory card can be accessed if the USB cable is connected to a computer in this status.

Note:

When disconnecting the AC power adapter, first unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet in the wall.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when not planning to use the copyboard for long periods of time.
