Battery Level Indicator

This indicator shows the amount of time left for the rechargeable battery. Details are on page 21.

DEW Indicator

DEW flashes when there is excessive moisture in the camcorder. Remove the cassette and leave the cassette compartment open for at least two hours. When DEW stops flashing, the camcorder is ready to operate.

Digital Special Effects

The mode selected with the D•S•E button appears here. Details are on page 40.

Manual Focus Indicator

Press A/M FOCUS to turn auto focus on and off.

M.FOCUS appears when manual focus is turned on.

No indicator appears when auto focus is turned on.

SCENE SELECT AE Indicators

The indicator for the mode selected with the SCENE SELECT AE dial appears here. No indicator appears when the dial is set to AUTO. Details are on page 34.
