Limited Warranty

What your warranty covers:

Any defect in material or workmanship.

90 days for labor charges.

One year for parts.

The warranty period for rental units begins with the first rental.

What we will do:

Pay any Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter the labor charges to repair your camcorder.

Pay any Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter for the new or, at our option, refurbished replacement parts required to repair your camcorder.

How you get service:

Check with your RCA Dealer or call 1-800-336-1900 for the Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter nearest you.

If an Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter is conveniently near you:

Take your camcorder to the Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter of your choice.

Show the Servicenter Representative your sales receipt or other evidence of purchase date.

Pick up your camcorder when repairs are completed.

If an Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter is not located conveniently near you:

Pack the camcorder so that it will not be damaged during shipping. (We recommend using the original carton and packing materials.) Include any cables and other accessories originally furnished with the camcorder.

Include in the camcorder carton

(1) a copy of your sales receipt or other

evidence of purchase date, (2) your name and address, and (3) a brief description of the problem.

Ship the camcorder to an Authorized RCA Camcorder Servicenter.

Pay any charges billed to you by the Servicenter for service not covered by the warranty.

What your warranty does not cover:

Customer instruction. (Your owner’s manual clearly describes how to install, adjust, and operate your camcorder. Any additional information should be obtained from your Dealer.)

Installation and related adjustments.

Cleaning of video/audio heads.

Damage from misuse or neglect.

Batteries for clock or other features.

A camcorder that has been modified or incorporated into other products or is used for institutional or other commercial purposes.

A camcorder purchased or serviced outside the USA.

How state law relates to this warranty:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights that vary from state to state.

Product registration:

Please complete and mail the product registration card packed with your camcorder. It will make it easier to contact you should it ever be necessary. The return of the card is not required for warranty coverage.
