Connection to a computer

If the camera is connected to a computer, you can then use the accessory application software to perform operations such as data transfer and printing of images by the computer.

The method of connecting the power supply and peripheral devices is the same as described in “Basic connections”.

Note:

When connecting an RS-232C cable, it may be necessary to use a separate conversion adaptor depending on the type of computer being used.

When connecting a USB cable, take note of the differences in the shapes of the connectors at the computer end and at the camera end.

Only connect a cable to the USB connector when using the application software. If the USB cable is connected to the camera at other times, normal operations such as recording cannot be carried out.
