Tracks will play in a random order within the previously selected Folder repeat or
Disc repeat ranges.

Scanning folders and tracks
While you are using Folder repeat, the begin- ning of each track in the selected folder plays for about 10 seconds. When you are using Disc repeat, the beginning of the first track of each folder is played for about 10 seconds.
1 Select the repeat range.
Refer to Repeating play on the previous page.

The first 10 seconds of each track of the cur- rent folder (or the first track of each folder) is played.
4When you find the desired track (or folder) press
The track (or folder) will continue to play.
# If the display has automatically returned to the playback display, select Scan mode again by using

After track or folder scanning is finished, normal playback of the tracks will begin again.

Selecting the search method
You can switch the search method between fast forward/reverse and searching every 10 tracks.

Searching every 10 tracks in the current folder
If the current folder contains over 10 tracks, you can search every 10 tracks. When one folder contains a lot of tracks, you can roughly search for the track you want to play.
