Adjusting bass and treble

You can adjust bass and treble settings.

!If EQ-EX function has been selected and only when EQ-EX is turned on and CUSTOM is selected as the equalizer curve, you can adjust bass and treble set- tings. (Refer to Compensating for equalizer curves (EQ-EX) on page 37.)

Adjusting bass

You can adjust the cut-off frequency and the bass level.

1Touch BASS on the audio function menu.

2Touch aor bto adjust the bass level. Each time you touch aor bincreases or de- creases the bass level. +6 to –6 is displayed as the level is increased or decreased.

3Touch cor dto select the desired fre- quency.

Touch cor duntil the desired frequency ap- pears in the display. 40Hz—63Hz—100Hz—160Hz

Adjusting treble

You can adjust the cut-off frequency and the treble level.

Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the
low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.

LOW (low)—MID (mid)—HIGH (high)

Using subwoofer output

This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output which can be turned on or off.

!When the subwoofer output is on, you can adjust the cut-off frequency and the output level of the subwoofer.
