XTNDConnect® PC

This PC program can be used to syn- chronise addresses, appointments, memos and e-mails between your phone and Windows® Outlook® 98 or later versions.

Software installation on a PC

Please install the Data Exchange Software before XTNDConnect® PC.

•Close all open programs.

•Insert the CD-ROM in your PC’s drive.

•Launch the XTNDConnect® PC in- stallation program.

•You will be guided through the in- stallation process by dialogue boxes.

Operating instructions

The XTNDConnect® PC software of- fers detailed operating instructions and online help. You can call up help by clicking on "?" in the menu bar.

Connection

Phone and PC must be connected via infrared (supported by Windows®98, Windows®ME and Windows®2000) or cable.

In order to ensure optimum data flow when the telephone is connect- ed to a computer by cable, please use only original Siemens accesso- ries: Data Cable with the order number L36880-N4501-A148.

Explorer

The memory of your phone (approx. 400 KBytes) is used flexibly by vari- ous applications and adapts itself to your personal user profile.

Explorer is used by the:

•Addressbook

•Dictating mach.

•SMS Archive

•Melodies

•Pictures

Always delete data not needed any more.
