Send/Print...
Send via ...
The phone offers several options to transmit or receive messages and data via various transmission routes, or to print them out. The relevant op- tion menus offer access to this func- tion. These menu items may vary depending on the application.
SMS
Phonebook entries/Addressbook en- tries, appointments, pictures, melo- dies etc. can be sent as an SMS to another suitable mobile phone.
Larger objects are split into several SMS messages, if necessary.
IrDA
The infrared port integrated in the phone cannot be used unless the other device has a corresponding port (see also page 81).
This device can be a mobile phone, PDA, PC or printer.

All the entries from the Phonebook, Addressbook and Organiser can be sent or printed via the infrared port.

Set the import mode on the receiv- ing phone (see below).
SMS as text
Business cards, address book en- tries and appointments can be sent as text in an SMS, provided the number of characters does not ex- ceed 160.
Import
Use this option to switch to import mode to receive the contents of en- tire address books for example with- out further confirmation.
