Activate phone information tones, for example the beep when you reach the end of a menu.

Key tones

Activate a tone to sound when you press a key.

Set your display light contrast.

Adjust the size of text displayed on your phone.

You can change your ring tone to suit your circumstances.

There are three states that your phone can be in, depending on your preference or environment. You can turn the ring tone On or Off, or be alerted by a beep.

To change the ring tone type:

1Press Menu, select Setup and then select Audio.

2Ringer setting is highlighted. Press

Select.

3Choose On , Off or Beep and press Select.

If you set the ring tone to On, you can also change your ring tone:

1Press Menu, select Setup and then select Audio.

2Scroll to Melodies and press Select.

3You can change the ring tone for various types of calls or events. Choose from:

Comp. melody

Record your voice or other sound to set as a ring tone. The sound file will be saved in your Filesystem.

Incoming call

You can set different ring tones for phonebook calls and for each group in your Addressbook.

Alarm

Sets the ring tone for your alarm.

Alarm clock

Changes the sound of your alarm clock.

Messages

Sets the sound your phone makes when you receive an Answer Phone text or photo message.

Start melody

Set a tone to sound when you switch on your phone.

End melody

Set a tone to sound when you switch off your phone.

4Once you have selected which field you want to alter, press Select.

5A list of ring tones will appear.

Scroll through them until you come to the one that you want. When you have chosen one, press Select.

Activate silent alert so that you know when a call is coming through without disturbing anybody else. When you receive a call, your phone will vibrate.

1Press Menu, select Setup and then select Audio.

Select. Scroll to Off and press

Select.

Alternatively, simply press and hold in the main display to switch silent alert on and off.
