10 - ensure your phone is secure

3You will see PIN control on the screen. Press Change.

4You are prompted to enter your PIN code. Enter the preset code of 1111 and press OK.

5You will see a tick in the box next to PIN control in the display.

To turn your phone on once SIM Card PIN is activated:

1When you switch your phone on you will see Please enter your PIN in the display.

2Enter the code and press OK. Your phone is ready to use.

To change your SIM Card PIN:

1Press Menu, scroll to Setup.

Press Select. Scroll to Security and press Select.

2Codes is highlighted. Press Select.

3Scroll to Change PIN. Press Select.

4Enter your current PIN and press OK.

5Enter your new PIN code and press OK. Enter the new code again and press OK.

What if I enter the wrong PIN?

If you enter an incorrect SIM Card PIN or PIN2 three times in a row, your SIM Card will block. You will need a PUK (personal unblocking key) to unblock your SIM Card.

Call Business Customer Services on 07973 100 158 for details on how to unblock your phone.

Do not attempt to guess the PUK code.

If you enter your PUK code incorrectly 10 times in a row, you will permanently block your

SIM Card and you may have to return your phone to Orange.

Babysitter allows you to set your phone so that only one number can be dialled, while Call barring blocks certain types of call.

To use Babysitter:

1Press Menu, scroll to Setup. Press Select.

2Scroll to Security and press Select.

3Scroll to Babysitter and Press Select.

4You will be asked to enter your phone code. The first time you use this feature, you enter any number with four to eight digits, which becomes your phone code.

5You will see Babysitter Off in the display. Press Change.

6Enter the number to which calls are allowed or select it from your phonebook and press OK. Babysitter will be activated. If you are using a new contact it will be saved to your phonebook.

What are the security codes for?

Your Orange phone comes with a number of preset security codes. Each code controls one of your phone’s security features. Use the table below to identify which code you will need to activate each feature.
