9 - manage your time, calls and files

set the time and date

Your Orange phone has a number of convenient features designed to make it easy for you to keep track of time and plan your day.

1Press Menu and scroll to Setup. Press Select.

2Scroll to Clock and press Select.

3Scroll to Time/Date and press Select.

4If the time and date are correct, press

OK. Otherwise, press Change. 5 Use the or keys to move from

one part of the time or date to another. Change the numbers by entering the correct ones on the keypad.

6When you have finished, press OK.

To change the way the date is displayed, scroll to Date format and press Select. Choose either DD.MM.YYYY or MM.DD.YYYY.

remind yourself using the built-in alarm

Your M55 has a built-in alarm to remind you of your commitments.

To set your alarm clock:

1Press Menu and scroll to Extras. Press Select.

2Scroll to Alarm clock and press

Select.

3Press Change and set the time at which you would like the alarm to sound.

4Press and scroll through the days of the week. Press Change to set the days on which you would like the alarm to sound.

5Press OK then On to set the alarm.

Press Off to stop your alarm when it sounds. Alternatively, press Pause to turn the alarm tone off for five minutes.

Note: If you miss an alarm because you are on a call when it sounds, it will be saved in the Missed alarms menu.

use your phone’s Organiser to remind yourself of important events

Your M55 has a built-in Organiser which allows you to set notes and alarms reminding you of your work commitments.

Remind yourself of your meetings by saving them as Appointments.

To save an Appointment:

1Press Menu and scroll to Organiser. Press Select.

2Scroll to Appointments and press

Select.

3<New entry> will be highlighted. Press

Select.

4Choose the type of appointment from:

Memo

Speech memo

Call

Meeting

5Press and add a description for the appointment. If the appointment is a call, enter the number in the Description tab.

6Add a location and start and end time, then press and select an alarm to sound. Choose how often you want the reminder to recur and press Save.
