On the TV screen:

Press PLAY/FM MODE.

To exit from Program Play

Before or after play, press PLAY/FM MODE once or twice so that the unit enters another play mode (Random Play or Continuous Play).

The PRGM indicator goes off.

Turning off the unit also cancels Program Play and changes play mode to Continuous Play. The program you have made will be erased (see the left column).

Playing at Random—Random Play

The programed contents appear on the TV.

To erase the play mode screen, press PLAY/FM MODE again.

USE NUMERIC KEYS TO PROGRAM TRACKS.

USE CANCEL TO DELETE THE PROGRAM.

1 Load discs into the 5-DVD changer.

On the display:

Press cursor 5/while Program Play is stopped.

Shows the programed tracks in the

 

 

programed order.

5:

Shows them in the reverse order.

To modify the program

You can modify the program before or after playing.

To erase the last step, press CANCEL.

Each time you press CANCEL, the last programed step is erased.

To add steps in the program before play, simply select the numbers you want to add by pressing the number buttons.

To erase the entire program, press 7 before or after playback.

Turning off the unit will also erase the program.

If the current playing source is not “DISC,” press DVD 3 (or

#¥8 DVD on the unit), then 7 before going to the next step.

On the remote control ONLY:

2 Press PLAY/FM MODE repeatedly until “RANDOM” appears on the display.

The RANDOM indicator also lights up on the display.

During Program Play

You cannot select disc by using DISC UP or DISC DOWN (or DISC SELECT on the unit).

If you try to program the 100th step

“MEMORY FULL” will appear on the display.

3 Press DVD 3.

The tracks are played at random.

Random Play ends when all the tracks are played once (when Repeat Play is not activated).

To stop during play, press 7.

Playback stops, but Random Play is still activated.

If your entry is ignored

You are trying to program a track from an empty tray, or a chapter/title/ track/group number that does not exist on the disc (for example, selecting track 14 on a disc that only has 12 tracks). Such entries are ignored, and are erased from the program.

If the total playing time is 100 minutes or more

To skip the current playing track, press ¢.

You cannot go back to the previous tracks.

The total playing time on the display will not be shown. “– – :–” will appear.
