4Select a program.

5Begin working out. Enter the program selection, answer prompts, and enter your Weight and Age.

4.To display the program selections, press ENTER and then, press any or key.

Note:You can begin your workout immediately from the Precor banner by pressing QUICKSTART. Default values apply. Refer to page 34.

5.If you choose to continue the setup process, you are prompted to enter your WEIGHT and AGE. Follow the instructions on the display. When prompted, press SPEED with the one hand while you hold onto the handrail with the other. Step onto the running belt while the speed is at 1 mph (2 kph). Once you are comfortable with the walking or running speed, you can remove your hand(s) from the handrail.

(Pause) To pause during your workout session before finishing the selected program, press the Stop key. See Pause, Workout Summary and Exit Features for more information.

6Continue your workout.

(Cool down)

6.When you have completed a program, a five-minute cool- down period automatically begins. Hold onto the handrail.

Note: Always incorporate a cool-down period into your workout. See Cooling Down After Your Workout.

7End your workout.

(Review WORKOUT SUMMARY)

7.After you complete the five-minute cool-down period, the running belt comes to a complete stop and a WORKOUT SUMMARY banner appears.Workout statistics exceptTIME, DISTANCE and CALORIES reset to zero. (Note that the TIME display shows the accumulated workout time including warm-up and cool-down periods.)You are given two minutes to review your workout statistics before the display automati- cally resets to the Precor banner. To return to the Precor banner, prior to the two minute time-out, press RESET.

8Remove the security clip and step off the treadmill.

8.Detach the security clip from your clothing and carefully step down from the treadmill.
