When you use a CD-RW disc, you can erase the recorded data.

ERASE indicator

ERASE

1 Insert a CD-RW disc you want to erase into the loading tray for REC/ PLAY.

2 Press and hold ERASE for more than 1 second.

• The ERASE indicator flashes and erasing starts.

ERASE

Erasing takes a few minutes.

When erasing has finished, the ERASE indicator goes off and the unit ejects the disc.

The ERASE function does not erase all the recorded data, the ERASE function only erases some data such as track information. The erased CD-RW disc can be used as a blank disc.

NOTES

• Do not turn off the unit during erasing. It may damage the disc.
