MASTER

This command selects or returns the current mode of the AP400 from the serial port.

[DEVICE] MASTER <X>

Explanation

X=1

Parameter to designate the AP400 as master-

 

single

X=3

Parameter to designate the AP400 as slave

X=4

Parameter to designate the AP400 as master-

 

linked

X=Null

Parameter to return the current mode

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition of the mixer in the same format as the command.

MDMODE

This command enables or disables the modem mode for the AP400. When the modem mode is enabled, the modem initialization string is sent out the serial port and the serial port then requires a password before a command is processed. Note: The default password is a carriage return (enter). If the password is forgotten, it can be cleared back to a carriage return via the front panel.

X=0

Sets modem mode to OFF

X=1

Sets modem mode to ON

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition (1=On, 0=Off) of the pin in the same format as the command.

After five minutes of serial inactivity, the password will be requested to continue serial activity. For immediate password protection, see BYE command (page 48).

MEQ

This command changes or reports back the state of the equalizer adjustment for a microphone input.

[DEVICE] MEQ <CH> <BAND> <X>

Explanation

CH= 1-4

Parameter to apply to the

 

specified microphone channel

CH= *

Parameter to apply command to

 

all microphone channels

<BAND>

 

BAND=H, M, L

Parameter to select which band

 

is modified

<X>

 

X= -12 –12

Parameter to set level of the

 

band

X=Null

Parameter to return the current

 

level

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition of the equalizer in the same format as the command.
