SECTION 3—SAFETY INSPECTION/TROUBLESHOOTING

Clean quick-release axles with a Teflon® lubricant.

Ensure axles are free from dirt, lint, etc.

Ensure roller bearings are free from dirt, lint, etc.

Adjust wheel locks as tires wear.

Clean and wax all parts.

SOLUTIONS

If pneumatic tires, check for correct and equal pressure.

Check for loose stem nuts/bolts.

Check that casters contact ground at the same time.

Maintenance

WARNING

After adjustments and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware is securely tightened, otherwise injury or damage may result.

CAUTION

DO NOT overtighten hardware attaching to the frame. This could cause damage to the frame tubing.
