Preparation
Note:
The ceramic plates t/y must be free of conta- mination. If necessary, clean them before taking them into use (see chapter „Cleaning“).
1.Insert the power plug e into a wall socket.
2.Press the On/Off switch w until the control lamp q glows.
3.Set the desired temperature with the rotary con- troller r:
•Temperature from level 1: fine hair
•Temperature from level 10: average strength hair
•Temperature from level 20:
strong or difficult to straighten hair
Straightening hair
•Prepare the hair as described in "Before straigh- tening".
•Start with the lower hair pieces at the back of the head. Work over the sides to the front.
1.Separate a ca. 2 cm wide hair strand.
Attention!
Ensure the hair straightener does not make contact with the skin of the head. Risk of burns!
2.Clamp the hair strand between the ceramic plates near the head t/y and press them together.
3.Pull the whole of the hair strand through the cera- mic plates t/y in that you pull the hair straightener downwards.
4.Repeat the process with each individual strand.
5.When all strands have been straightened press the On/Off switch w until the control lamp q extinguishes.
6.Remove the power plug e from the wall socket.
Storage
Attention!
NEVER wrap the power cable with plug e around the appliance.
Attention!
ALWAYS remove the power plug e from the wall socket when the appliance is not in use and is being stored in the combination moun- ting a.
•Always place the appliance in the hair straightener retainer i to cool down.
If the narrow ceramic plates t are assembled:
•Slide the wide ceramic plates y in the retainer for ceramic plates o as shown in the illustration.
•Press the hair straightener together, and place it in the hair straightener retainer i.
