Rings to Answer

This feature lets you select the number of times you want the phone to ring before the answering system answers a call.

1.Press the menu button repeatedly until you hear “Number of rings selected is 3,4,5,6 or TS”. The indicator displays nr.

2.Press the repeat or skip button to choose your desired setting.

3.Press the menu button to confirm your setting.

NOTE: If you select Toll Saver (TS) the unit answers after the 3rd ring if there are NEW messages, OR the unit answers after the 5th ring if there are NO new messages. This allows user to access their answering system from another location and then hang up after 3 rings to save long distance charges.

Call Screening

When call screening is ON the base speaker activates when the system answers an incoming call. You can listen to hear who is calling and then pick up the call if you desire.

1.Press the menu button repeatedly until you hear “Call Screening is ON (or OFF)”. The indicator displays CS.

2.Press the repeat or skip button to change the setting.

3.Press the menu button to confirm.
