38 Using the answering machine

Switch on/off

When first connected to the mains, your BT Synergy 3505 is set to ON and Answer and Record.

1. Press	Ans.
	on
	off . The machine confirms the setting by announcing

“Answer on, your outgoing message is….” or “Answer off”.

Loudspeaker volume

Volume for message playback, ranges from 0 - 9 plus H.

Where 0 = Off, H = Maximum.

1.On the base, Press VOL + or VOL – . When the highest or lowest level is reached, you hear two beeps.

Outgoing messages

This is the message your caller hears when the answering machine picks up their call. Your BT Synergy 3505 comes with two pre-recorded outgoing messages to choose from.

Answer and Record

This allows your caller to leave a message for you.
