Set the day and time

Your BT Synergy 3505 automatically adds the day and time to all recorded messages and memos.

On the handset:

1. Press ✔ twice. The display flashes TAM MENU.

2. Press 0 and you hear “To set day and time press Star, to hear day and time press Square.”

3.Press . You hear “Please enter new day and time after

the tone”. Enter the day ( 2 = Mon, etc.).

Enter the time using the 24 hour clock, e.g. 1 ◀4 1

5= 2.15pm. The new day and time is announced.

4.Press twice to return to standby.

To register additional handsets to the base, see page 53.

Range indicator

The symbol on your handset display indicates when you are in range of the base. If the symbol flashes and you hear a warning beep, you are out of range and will need to move closer to

the base.

Voice prompts

Your BT Synergy 3505 gives you voice prompts that help you use the answer machine. The main menu announcements are automatically made via the handset when is pressed twice.

If the day and time are entered incorrectly, you will hear “Incorrect, please set again”. Enter the correct setting within 15 seconds or the handset will return to standby. If the day and time are entered incorrectly 3 times the handset will return to standby.
