40 Using the answering machine

Your message is played back and the menu is announced again.

5. Press and hold to return to standby.

If you are likely to use the Answer and Record setting you should try to keep your Answer Only message short to leave room for recording messages.

Record your own Answer Only message

Your message can be up to the maximum recording capacity available of 12 minutes. It replaces the pre- recorded Answer Only outgoing message, but it is possible to reinstate this later if you wish.

1.Pick up the handset and press twice. You hear the main menu announcement.

2. Press 8 for the outgoing message menu.

3.Press ◀4 . The prompt announces “Please speak after the tone. To end recording press #.”

4.After the tone, speak your message clearly into the

handset. Press to end recording.

Your message is played back and the menu is announced again.

5.Press and hold to return to standby.
