Press the appropriate LINE key to an- swer the new call. The original call will automatically be placed on HOLD. You can then:

1.Press OFF when you’re done with the current call, then press the flash- ing LINE key to return to your origi- nal call.

2.CONFERENCE Lines 1 and 2 to- gether. For more details, see CON-

FERENCE CALLING.

NOTE: You cannot switch back to the Speakerphone just by return- ing the Handset to the Base.That will disconnect the call.

1.If someone is speaking on the Handset, you can join the conver- sation just by pressing LINE 1 or LINE 2 on the Base Unit.

2.Either party can then leave the con- versation by pressing OFF .

From the Handset

1.If you are using the Speakerphone, someone at the Handset can join the conversation by pressing LINE 1 (or LINE2) on the Handset, de- pending on which line is active.
