i2022 ISDN Teleset

Press the hardkey that you would like to remap. If you select a key that is not available you will be prompted to “Try Another Key.” When you select an available key the display will show:

NOTE: Key (xx) will be the number of the hardkey you select. At this point, use the dial keypad to enter the Feature Number (Activator/Identifier) that you want to appear on the key you selected. In our example, we entered 57. Press Save to remap the key.

Press MENU to exit the idle menu. At this point the hardkey you selected will be the Feature you entered. Pressing that key will activate or deactivate (toggles) the feature. For a complete list of the NIUF recommended Feature Keys contact your service provider.

NOTE: Only feature keys can be mapped to a different key. Call Appearances cannot be remapped.

VIEW

View is a feature that is local to the phone. It will only reflect the current programming of the phone. To ensure accuracy, ReqParam/RunSPM before using View. (National ISDN only)

Key assignments should be checked if features/options do not seem to work correctly. Often the Teleset is blamed for incorrect or missing key assignments. This results in returned instruments, unnecessary expense and loss of use. The following steps will help to verify your Teleset operation.

Dial the key number using the touchtone keypad

The Directory Numbers assigned to the Teleset are easily viewed by pressing MENU, View, DN. (National ISDN only)
