Quick guide to handset display icons

Shows the status of the handset battery.

In range signal strength.

Redial, lists up to the last 10 dialled numbers.

SMS Opens the SMS menu.

Flashes to indicated new messages (e.g. Calls, SMS or Answer machine). Remains on, when you have old messages stored.

For calling other handsets.

Opens the menu.

Scroll through the menu.

Scroll left and right, when entering numbers or messages.

Deletes numbers/characters (from right to left).

Ringer off.

Keypad locked.

Crescendo tone.

Answer machine (shows when used with the BT Diverse 5450).
