Line indicators
The Line Indicator bullets on the handset will convert to a solid or flashing number to mimic the Line LEDs on the deskset, based on the assignment made at the PBX.
2.6Startup Sequence
The handset goes through an initialization sequence at startup. The line icons 1 through 9 display and count down as the handset steps through this sequence. This is usually very rapid. If there is any difficulty at any step that prevents initialization from continuing, an error message will display and the related icon(s) will stay on. Please see the Handset Status Messages table at the back of this document for instructions on how to handle error messages that occur during initialization.
