Security Codes & Authority Levels

Authority Level

You can set the authority level to the selected user.

You can select four authority levels, “Standard User”, “Arm only”, “Guest” and “Duress” through the AUTHORITY LEVEL menu.

Refer to “Authority Level Definitions” on page 30 in the 3000EN Security Systems User’s Guide.

While the security system is armed, you can not turn on this function. To turn on, disarm the security system (p. 12).

Make sure all perimeter doors and windows are closed and READY is displayed.

Ex. To assign the “Guest” level to the user of a user number “08”

Base Unit

1Press [ADT].

2	Scroll to “OTHER FUNCTIONS” by pressing [d]
				gOTHER FUNCTIONS
	or [B], then press [g].
3	Scroll to “USER CODES” by pressing [d] or [B],
				gUSER CODES
	then press [g].
4	Scroll to “AUTHORITY LEVEL” by pressing [d]
				gAUTHORITY LEVEL
	or [B], then press [g].
5	Enter the security code for system master.
				ENTER CODE			----
6	Enter the user number of 2 digits, then press
				Enter User #			-,-
	[g] (	ENTER	).
	(Ex. To select user number 8, enter “08”.)			Example
				Enter User #			0,8
						=ENTER
					READY
						g

7Select the desired authority level by pressing [d] or [B].

Enter Auth. Lvl :Standard User READY g=ENTER

Enter Auth. Lvl :Guest

READY g=ENTER
