Security Codes & Authority Levels

Access Group

You can assign users to a group (1 to 8) and select the access group for “Schedule” mode.

Refer to “Access group” on page 31 in the 3000EN Security Systems User’s Guide.

While the security system is armed, you can not turn on this function. To turn on, disarm the security system (p. 12).

Make sure all perimeter doors and windows are closed and READY is displayed.

Base Unit

1Press [ADT].

2	Scroll to “OTHER FUNCTIONS” by pressing [d]
				gOTHER FUNCTIONS
	or [B], then press [g].
3	Scroll to “USER CODES” by pressing [d] or [B],
				gUSER CODES
	then press [g].
4	Scroll to “ACCESS GROUP” by pressing [d] or
				gACCESS GROUP
	[B], then press [g].
5	Enter your security code.
				ENTER CODE			----
6	Enter the user number of 2 digits, then press
				Enter User #			-,-
	[g] (	ENTER	).
	(Ex. To select user number 8, enter “08”.)			Example
				Enter User #			0,8
						=ENTER
					READY
						g

7Enter the access group number (1 to 8). (Ex. To assign group number 1, press [1].)

8Press [g] (ENTER).

•If a confirmation tone (one beep) is not heard, you entered the wrong security code in step 5 or wrong user number in step 6. The setting is not saved. If the system is wrongly armed, disarm the system, and try again.
