Handling Calls

Transferring Calls

You can transfer calls from your handset to other handsets registered with the same gateway, or to other destinations on the VoIP or landline network.

Transferring to another Handset

You may want to transfer an active call to another headset connected to the same gateway.

To transfer a call to another handset through the intercom system do the following.

1.During an active call, press the Hold softkey.

2.Press the Options softkey.

3.Select Intercom, and press OK z.

4.Select a handset to transfer the active call to, and press OK z.

5.When the other handset answers, press Options.

6.Select Transfer and press OK z to transfer the call.

Transferring to a VoIP or Landline:

You may want to transfer an active call to another number outside of your gateway. To transfer a call to a number you enter do the following.

1.During an active call, press the Hold softkey.

2.Press the Options softkey.

3.Select Transfer, and press OK z.

4.Enter the number to transfer the call to.

5. Press the green key R to connect the call on hold to the number you entered.

Transferring to a Contacts List Number:

You may want to transfer an active call to a number in your Contacts List.

To transfer a call to a number in your Contacts List do the following.

1.During an active call, press the Hold softkey.

2.Press the Options softkey.

3.Select Transfer, and press OK z.

4.Press the Contacts softkey.

5.Scroll through the contacts list and select the number you want, then press the Select softkey.

6. Press the green key R to connect the call to the contact you selected.
