Program Playback

5 Select and enter one of the tracks.

Up to 32 tracks can be programmed. Any tracks on CD1, CD2 and CD3 can be selected.

• When the selection is entered:

 

 

 

1 Insert CDs that contain tracks to be

programmed.

Tracks on a CD which has not been inserted cannot be played even when they have been programmed. Operation will simply move on to the next step in the program.

2 Press the PLAY MODE button while the unit is in the CD stop mode to select PROGRAM.

The source can be selected in the reverse direction by turning the MULTI JOG dial counterclockwise.

When the SET button is pressed, the programming step and track number flash.

A disc loaded in the CDR cannot be selected.

6 Repeat steps 4 and 5 to program up to 32 tracks (when you try to program more than 32 tracks, “MEMORY FULL” is displayed).

7 Press the 3 button to start program play.

The numbers of the tracks which have been played are cleared from the music calendar, and they are displayed when program play is completed.

Operation stops automatically when all the programmed tracks have been played.

To clear a track from the program

To delete a programmed track, turn the MULTI JOG dial (or press the 4/¢ buttons on the remote) in the stop mode until the desired track is displayed in the screen. Press the CANCEL button to delete the track from the program. All the tracks following the erased one will automatically decrease by one and will be renum- bered. To clear the entire program, press cancel until “PG NO PROGRAM” is displayed in the screen.

To change contents of the program

In the stop mode, press the SET button followed by the CANCEL button. Programmed steps will be erased in reverse order each time the CANCEL button is pressed twice. Continue erasing in this manner until the desired step number is reached. Follow program- ming steps to reprogram tracks after the desired step.

To check the contents of the program

To check what has been programmed while the tracks are being programmed, press the 7 (stop) button, and use the MULTI JOG dial (or press the 4/¢buttons on the remote) to check.
