INTRODUCTION

This manual describes how to use the EDACS/ProVoiceLPE-200 Portable Radio. The LPE-200 is a synthesized, microprocessor-based, high performance portable FM radio providing reliable two-way communications in the Enhanced Digital Access Communications System (EDACS) or ProVoice trunking environment and conventional communication systems.

Advanced hardware and software technology enables this radio to support all advanced EDACS and ProVoice radio features and multiple communications modes including digital. Depending on the customer's needs, the LPE-200 is available in both System and Scan Modes.
