To drain water from fuel system:

Open filter petcock and drain water into metal container. Close petcock when water-free fuel flows.

To replace fuel filter:

Close shutoff valve and turn filter counterclockwise. Remove filter.

Apply thin coat of fuel to gasket on new filter. Install new filter and turn clockwise. Open shutoff valve. Bleed air from fuel system accord- ing to engine manual.

Inspect fuel line, and replace if cracked or worn.

To drain sludge:

Put metal container under drain, and remove sludge drain plug. Re- install plug when done.

YAfter servicing, start engine and check for fuel leaks.

YStop engine, tighten connec- tions as necessary, and wipe up spilled fuel.

Close doors.
