YDo not run engine without air cleaner or with dirty element.

Open evacuator valve weekly to re- move dust. Clean or replace ele- ment if dirty or damaged. Replace element yearly or after six cleanings.

To Clean air filter:

Wipe off cap and housing. Remove cap and dump out dust. Wipe dust from inside cap and housing with damp cloth. Remove element and reinstall cap.

YDo not clean housing with air hose.

Clean element with compressed air. Max. air pressure: 100 psi (690 kPa). Replace element if it has holes or damaged gaskets.

Reinstall element and cap

Y Stop engine and let cool.

1 Spark Arrestor Screen

Clean and inspect screen. Replace spark arrestor if screen wires are broken or missing.
