Keep your jointer-pianer clean, Put a carton Or some kind

of a container underneath your jointer-planer to catch the chips. The container should reach above the top of the motor.

Do not allow pitch to accumulate on the tables, the fence, the cutter guard, the cutter head or the knives, Clean them with Craftsman Gum and Pitch Remover,

Apply a thin coat of automobile-type wax to the tables and fence so that the wood slides easily while feeding.

Frequently btow out any dust that may accumulate in- side the motor.

For motor maintenance, follow instructions furnished with motor.

If power cord is worn or cut, or damaged in any way, have it replaced immediately,

The BALL BEAR INGS in this machine are packed with grease at the factory. They require no further lubrication.

The following parts should be oiled occasionally with SAE No. 20 or No, 30 engine oil.

1.Dovetail spacer and dovetail slide.

2.Elevating screw (first clean with Craftsman Gum and Pitch Remover).
