This graphical symbol with supplemental marking is located on the right surface of the PlayStation®2 console (when it is in a vertical position).

This symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

This symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the console.

Caution

Before operating your PlayStation®2 console

A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or back- grounds on a television screen or while playing video games, including games played on the PlayStation®2 console, may induce an epileptic seizure in these individuals. Certain conditions may trigger previously undetected epileptic symptoms even in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy.

If you, or anyone in your family, has an epileptic condition, consult your physician prior to playing.
