descn | Enter a text string to describe the event. |
| The description can have a maximum of 127 characters. |

type nonelogtrapboth | Selects the type of notification provided for this event. For log events, an entry is |
| made in the log table and sent to the configured syslog host. For trap events, an |
| SNMP trap is sent to the management station (/cfg/snmp/trap). |

owner | Enter a text string that identifies the person or entity that uses this event index. |
| The owner can have a maximum of 127 characters. |
|
|
delete | Deletes this event index. |
|
|
cur | Displays the current RMON Event parameters. |

The Alarm RMON group can track rising or falling values for a MIB object. The MIB object must be a counter, gauge, integer, or time interval. Each alarm index must correspond to an event index that triggers once the alarm threshold is crossed.

intrval | Configures the time interval over which data is sampled and compared |
